To start this month’s series on headache and migraine prevention let’s talk about green light therapy. There have been several studies investigating the benefits of using a green light for headaches and migraines.
It was concluded that if used for at least 2 hrs a day, green light can greatly reduce the occurrence of migraines. It is recommended you put a green bulb or lamp that emits a narrow band of green light in your bedroom or an area where you spend the most time, using it before you go to bed and when you wake up.
This is a great and simple way to assist you in lessening migraines in between massage sessions.
